My name is Martynas, and this is what I am doing now:

  • My official title is Data and Analytics Consultant, in reality, I rarely consult about analysing data, more about handling and visualizing data.
  • In my work, I focus on Power BI and Microsoft Fabric. Outside of work, I explore other tools. My favourites are R, Excel and Tableau.
  • I create content for this website – Chart Planet – mostly blog posts.
  • Occasionally I share my knowledge and experiences at events.

  • I used to create content for this website – Chart Planet – mostly infographics.
  • I used to do “Visual Storytelling” trainings for Power BI users.
  • I used to be active member of Data Visualization Lithuania group. We did semi-regular meetings and a lot of knowledge sharing.
  • I used to work as a finance analyst. Did plenty of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • I have been a musician and played music at live events.
  • I have studied Economics.

CHART PLANET

Chart Planet is about exploring and mastering data-human interaction.
For SEO: Chart Planet is about data visualization.

By data-human interaction in mean all the ways that people can interact with data – Excel Spreadsheets, Dashboards, Infographics, AI agents, static Reports, Data Art.

On Chart Planet, the primary focus is on Business Intelligence related topics. There will be data visualization, information design, user experience (UX) design, corporate survival and also Power BI specific topics. Occasionally there might be other data-human interaction topics explored.

There are two types of content here:

  • Blog covers best-practices, experiences, ideas, techniques, practical hacks and tools. If this resonates with you, please subscribe – I will send notifications about new blog posts to your inbox. Expect one article a month, maybe more.
